CHARETTE

Make 3 or more paper or paper and stick creations through folding, scrunching, tucking, cutting, bending rolling, etc.... These are study models so you want them to be fast and don’t worry too much about craft. Once you are finished, make a quick sketch of each object and write a few sentences describing the making process and the resulting attributes. Select 1 of your objects to refine and remake as a well-crafted finish model. Try to improve at least one attribute. For example, if the piece is strong in one direction, can you add more folds to make it even stronger. You may need to make several attempts before something works. Don’t be discouraged. Sketch your revised models and write a description. Photograph everything to document the process.
